Turmeric and carrot soup
This low-histamine turmeric and carrot soup conjures up a wonderful color on the plate!

Ingredients for 2 servings
- 6 carrots
- 4 potatoes
- 2 turmeric tubers (alternatively 1 tsp turmeric powder)
- 1 small piece of ginger (1)
- 1 onion (1)
- 2 cloves of garlic (1)
- 750 - 1000 ml water
- Salt
- basil

preparation
- Peel and quarter the potatoes and carrots, then cook them together with a finely chopped onion (1), garlic (1), turmeric and ginger (1) for about 10-15 minutes, then purée. Season with a little salt and basil.
Our HistaFood tip
For a low-fructose version, you can use pumpkin instead of carrots, for example. Please also omit the onion and garlic. A slice of our organic whole-grain bread goes perfectly with this.
