Date and nut medallions

These low-histamine date and nut cakes are quick to prepare and perfect as a snack or on the go. Simply delicious!

Ingredients for 2-3 people

  • 10 Medjool dates
  • 1 handful of chopped pistachios
  • 1 handful of sesame seeds (1)
  • 1 handful of chopped almonds (1)
  • 1 handful of chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1 handful of chia seeds

preparation

  • Chop the nuts into small pieces
  • Toast nuts, sesame seeds and chia seeds in a coated pan.
  • Pit the dates and crush them with a fork.
  • Knead the entire mixture together and shape it into a roll.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped pistachios as desired and press in.
  • Slice and serve
