Stuffed Kohlrabi

These low-histamine stuffed kohlrabi will bring real variety to your plate.

Ingredients for 2-3 people

Stuffed Kohlrabi Histamine

  • Wash and trim the kohlrabi, cut off the top and hollow it out, leaving a rim approximately 1 cm thick.
  • Set the inside aside
  • Wash, trim, and finely slice the spring onion.
  • Wash, peel and finely grate the carrots.
  • Preheat oven to 220°C (top/bottom heat).
  • Mix ground beef with salt, HistaFood vegetable spread, spring onion, carrots and about 1/3 of the inside of the kohlrabi.
  • Fill the kohlrabi with the minced meat and place the lid on top.
  • Peel and finely chop the onion.
  • Heat olive oil in a coated pan and sauté the onion and the remaining inside of the kohlrabi.
  • Deglaze with HistaFood vegetable broth and cream, then bring to a boil.
  • Place the kohlrabi in the pan and bake in the oven for 60 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

You can also fill the kohlrabi with a vegan filling: To do this, mix the spring onion with carrots, HistaFood organic vegetable spread and 200g of rice.
