Vegan Savoy cabbage roulades
These savory and flavorful savoy cabbage rolls with a quinoa and sweet potato filling offer a delicious alternative to the classic version with minced meat. Served with our HistaFood organic vegetable broth, they're a real treat. You absolutely must try them!

Ingredients for 3-4 people
- 6 large savoy cabbage leaves
- 150 g quinoa
- 200g sweet potato
- 1 onion (1)
- 1 bunch of flat-leaf parsley
- 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking
- ½ tsp HistaFood Organic Vegetable Broth
- 1 tsp sweet paprika

- 1 kg floury potatoes
- 4 tbsp olive oil for cooking
- 1 clove of garlic (1)
- 120 ml gluten-free oat milk (1)
- 1 tsp salt

preparation
- Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into cubes.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil, then simmer on medium heat until the sweet potatoes are tender.
- Cook the quinoa according to the package instructions.
- Simmer savoy cabbage leaves in boiling salted water for about 2-4 minutes.
- Remove from the water and set aside
- Drain and mash the sweet potatoes.
- Mix together quinoa, finely chopped parsley, sweet paprika, HistaFood organic vegetable broth and salt.
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil, then simmer on medium heat until the potatoes are tender.
- Peel and finely dice the onion.
- Heat a little olive oil in a pan and briefly sauté the onions until translucent.
- Then stir the onions into the quinoa mixture.
- Fill the savoy cabbage leaves evenly with the quinoa mixture and roll them up.
- Heat a little more olive oil in the pan and fry the savoy cabbage rolls until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain the potatoes and mash them with cooking olive oil, a garlic clove pressed through a garlic press, oat milk, and salt.
- Heat HistaFood Organic Vegetable Sauce
- Serve the savoy cabbage roulades with mashed potatoes and HistaFood organic vegetable sauce.
