Oatmeal fritters

Oatmeal patties are a great alternative to classic ground beef patties: they're vegan, low in histamine, and easy to prepare. So, are you hungry yet?

This recipe is

Preparation time 

20 minutes  

Ingredients for 1-2 people  

  • 120g Gluten-free rolled oats  
  • ½ onion (1)  
  • 1 tsp flax seeds or chia seeds  
  • 180 ml boiling water  
  • Olive oil  

Oatmeal fritters histamine preparation 

  • Peel and finely chop the onion.  
  • Finely chop the parsley  
  • Mix all the dry ingredients together and pour on boiling water.  
  • Stir and let it steep for about 5 minutes.  
  • Stir again after 5 minutes, form into meatballs, and brush with olive oil.  
  • Grill/pan-fry until crispy on both sides.
