Grilled apple

This low-histamine grilled apple tastes absolutely heavenly – and is perfect as a sweet finale to your next barbecue. Just give it a try!

This recipe is 

  • vegan

Preparation time 

15 minutes  

Ingredients for 1-3 people  

  • 2 apples  
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup  
  • ½ tsp cinnamon  

sauce  

  • 150 g coconut yogurt (1)  
  • 2 tbsp almond butter (1)  
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup  

Topping

  • Coconut flakes (1)
  • chopped pistachios
  • or almonds (1)  
Grilled apple histamine

preparation  

  • Wash the apples and core them with an apple corer.  
  • Cut into slices approximately 5 mm thick.  
  • Brush the apples with maple syrup and cinnamon and grill them on both sides on a hot grill.  
  • Mix coconut yogurt (1), almond butter (1) and maple syrup to make a sauce and spread it over the apples.  
  • Top with coconut flakes (1), chopped pistachios or almonds (1) and serve
