Spelt grain pancakes

This low-histamine spelt and grain pancake is packed with the power of grains for an energetic start to the day.

Ingredients for 2 servings

  • 200 g spelt flour
  • 100 ml milk
  • 150 ml sparkling water (low sulfate)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 peaches
  • HistaFood Organic Fruit Spread Apricot or Jelly of your choice (here blackberry)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 10 g butter

preparation

  • Mix the flour with the milk, mineral water, egg yolk and grains, and refine with cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
  • Then fry in a pan with butter and serve with fresh peach and jam.
  • Sweeten with a little maple syrup if desired.

For a low-fructose version, you can add fresh apricots, for example. If using rice syrup, sweeten it with this. Our organic protein spread with pumpkin seed and pistachio also makes an excellent topping.
