Crispy Asian Rice Cakes
Have you heard about this delicious food trend: homemade, crispy rice cakes? A tasty rice cake filled with your choice of ingredients. We've created an Asian-inspired version. A real eye-catcher and delicious at the same time!

Ingredients for 2-3 people
- 100g Basmati rice
- 1 jar of HistaFood vegetable spread, carrot & beetroot
- 2 pointed peppers
- Olive oil
- 2 tbsp HistaFood Organic Asian Sauce
- Sesame (1)
- Salt
- some parsley
preparation
- Cook 100g of basmati rice according to the package instructions.
- Brush the waffle iron with a little olive oil and spread basmati rice in it.
- Fry on medium heat for approximately 5-8 minutes.
- Wash, clean, and cut the bell peppers into thin strips.
- Sear in a pan with a little olive oil for cooking
- Remove the rice cake and spread HistaFood organic vegetable spread on it.
- Top with the roasted bell peppers.
- Top with sesame seeds, parsley and HistaFood organic Asian sauce and serve immediately.
