Zoodles Bolognese

An Italian classic in a low-histamine and reduced-carbohydrate version. Quick to prepare and always delicious!

Ingredients for 2 servings

  • 2 yellow zucchini
  • 250 g minced beef
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • 1 onion (1)
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 tbsp sweet paprika powder
  • 2 cloves of garlic (1)
  • frying olive oil
  • 5 sprigs of thyme
  • 5 sprigs of oregano
  • HistaFood Organic Herb Salt
  • grated mozzarella
  • 300 ml water

preparation

  • Chop the vegetables into small pieces, fry the onion and the minced meat in a pot with olive oil until browned, then add the remaining vegetables and deglaze with water.
  • Refine with organic herb salt and herbs.
  • Simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally and adding more water if needed.
  • Use a spiralizer to shape the zucchini and briefly fry it in a pan with a little olive oil.
  • Arrange everything on a plate and garnish with some fresh thyme, organic herb salt and mozzarella.

Alternatively, you can also make low-carb noodles from carrots or cucumbers. Our organic vegetable sauce is also excellent as a sauce.
