Vegan gummy bears

Fancy a fruity snack that's completely free of animal products? These vegan gummy bears are super quick and easy to make yourself! They're perfect for a movie night with your loved ones or simply for snacking anytime.

This recipe is   

  • vegan
  • suitable for a low-histamine diet  
  • lactose-free  
  • gluten-free

Preparation time   

10 minutes + 3-4 hours cooling  

Ingredients  

  • 100ml blackcurrant juice  
  • 3 tablespoons of beet sugar  
  • 3 tsp agar-agar powder  
  • 100 ml apple juice  
  • 100 ml grape juice

preparation  

  • Mix blackcurrant juice with 1 tablespoon of beet sugar and 1 teaspoon of agar-agar powder in a pot and bring to a boil.  
  • Simmer for 2 minutes and then shape as desired.  
  • Repeat the process with apple juice and grape juice.  
  • Place the molds in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours until the gummy bears harden.  
  • Then remove from the mold and serve.
