Homemade wrap bread

Do you love wraps but don't know how to make them low-histamine? Here's a quick and easy recipe for vegan, low-histamine wrap bread. You can then fill it with your favorite low-histamine ingredients.

This recipe is

Preparation time  

20 minutes  

Ingredients for 4-6 wrap breads  

  • 500g spelt flour 
  • 200ml lukewarm water 
  • 100ml lukewarm oat milk (1)
  • 60ml olive oil for frying 
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar baking powder (1) 
  • 1 tsp salt 

Homemade wrap bread, histamine preparation 

  • Mix all ingredients together and knead into a dough. 
  • If the dough is still sticky, add some flour. 
  • Divide the dough into 4-6 pieces. 
  • Roll out into a circle on a floured work surface. 
  • Heat a pan and reduce the heat to medium. 
  • Fry the bread on both sides until lightly toasted.
