Sushi

Do you love sushi and have been looking for a low-histamine version for a long time? With this simple recipe, you can quickly prepare it yourself. 

This recipe is  

  • suitable for a low-histamine diet 
  • gluten-free 

Preparation time  

30 minutes 

Ingredients for 2-3 people 

  • 250g Sushi Rice 
  • 1 cucumber 
  • 1 carrot 

Additionally required 

  • cling film 
  • Sushi mat   

Sushi histamine intolerance preparation 

  • Wash the sushi rice and cook according to the package instructions. 
  • Wash the cucumber and peel 3-4 thin slices using a peeler. 
  • Cut the remaining cucumber into thin, elongated strips. 
  • Wash, peel, and cut the carrot into thin, elongated strips. 
  • Remove the rice from the pot and spread it on a flat plate. 
  • Let it cool down 
  • Sear wild salmon fillet in a pan with a little olive oil. 
  • Place the sushi mat on the work surface. 
  • Spread cling film on top 
  • Flatten the sushi rice onto the mat with a spoon or your hands to approximately 20x20 cm. 
  • Fill one side lengthwise with cucumber, carrot and cream cheese, then roll it up using the sushi mat. 
  • Press the roll together firmly and then cut it into slices about 2-3cm thick on a wooden board. 
  • Prepare the sushi mat and cling film again, first place cucumber slices next to each other and then spread sushi rice on top. 
  • Fill as desired and cut again into 2-3cm thick slices. 
  • Finished sushi rolls can also be rolled in a mixture of sesame and black cumin seeds and then sliced. 
  • Serve sushi with HistaFood organic Asian sauce
