Vegan red cabbage fritters

You've definitely never eaten red cabbage like this before! These low-histamine red cabbage fritters bring a delicious change to your plate.

Preparation time       

25 minutes 

Ingredients for approximately 9 patties 

  • 350 g red cabbage 
  • 200g potatoes 
  • Some ginger (1) 
  • 1 clove of garlic (1) 
  • 1 small onion (1) 
  • 2-3 tablespoons of starch (potato or corn) 
  • ½ tsp paprika powder 
  • Salt
  • Olive oil 

Dip

preparation 

  • Wash, clean and grate the red cabbage. 
  • Wash, peel, and grate the potatoes. 
  • Grate some ginger 
  • Peel the garlic clove and press it through a garlic press. 
  • Peel and finely chop the onion. 
  • Mix all ingredients with starch, paprika powder and salt 
  • Heat some olive oil in a coated pan. 
  • Form patties and fry them in a pan until crispy on both sides. 
  • Mix coconut yogurt with freshly chopped herbs and HistaFood organic vegetable spread carrot & beetroot and serve with the red cabbage fritters.
