Quinoa wraps

Have you been searching for a recipe for gluten-free, low-histamine wraps? Then you've come to the right place. With this recipe, you can easily prepare delicious quinoa wraps – you absolutely have to try it!  

This recipe is   

  • vegan
  • suitable for a low-histamine diet  
  • suitable for a low-fructose diet  
  • gluten-free  
  • lactose-free

Preparation time   

30 minutes  

Ingredients for 4 people  

Dough  

  • 150 g quinoa  
  • 300 ml water  
  • 1 zucchini  
  • ½ bunch of parsley  
  • A little salt  
  • A little olive oil for frying  

 filling

 preparation  

  • Wash the quinoa with some hot water so that it doesn't taste so bitter later.  
  • Then let the quinoa soak for 30 minutes with twice the amount of water.  
  • Puree finely in a blender.  
  • Finely grate the zucchini, lightly salt it and let it stand for 10 minutes.  
  • Wash and finely chop the parsley.  
  • Squeeze the zucchini with your hands to remove the moisture.  
  • Mix together quinoa, zucchini, parsley and salt.  
  • Heat some olive oil in a coated pan and add some of the batter.  
  • Spread the batter thinly with a spoon and bake until golden brown on both sides.  
  • Wash and finely chop the romaine lettuce.  
  • Wash the cucumber and slice it.  
  • Spread wraps with HistaFood organic vegetable spread zucchini & basil.  
  • Top with romaine lettuce, cucumber, vegan feta cheese (1) and HistaFood organic herb salt and serve.

 You can fill the wrap however you like. If you leave out the parsley in the dough, you can also enjoy it sweet. For example, with cream cheese and our organic apricot fruit spread .
