One Pot Pasta with Pointed Cabbage
A quick and delicious low-histamine dish for autumn: One pot pasta with pointed cabbage. Hello, soul food!

Ingredients for 1-2 people
- 1 pointed cabbage (small)
- 1 onion (1)
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
- 250 g spelt penne
- 1 liter of HistaFood organic vegetable broth
- 200 g oat cream (1)
- Salt
- 50g chopped pistachios
- 50 g grated mozzarella
preparation
- Wash, clean, halve, and finely slice the pointed cabbage.
- Peel the onion, halve it, and cut it into thin strips.
- Wash, clean, and core the bell peppers.
- Cut into thin strips
- In a deep pan, mix all ingredients except the pistachios and mozzarella and bring to a boil on the stove.
- Once it starts simmering, reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer until the pasta has reached the desired consistency.
- Top with chopped pistachios and grated mozzarella and serve.
Our HistaFood tip
You can prepare this one-pot dish with any vegetables you like. For a gluten-free alternative, you can simply use rice noodles, for example. Make sure that the oat cream (1) is also gluten-free, or use rice cream.
