Chestnut slices
This is what autumn tastes like: These low-histamine chestnut slices are quick to prepare and can be served warm or cold. You absolutely have to try them!

Ingredients
- 1 liter of gluten-free oat milk (1)
- 250 g rice semolina
- 150 g coconut blossom sugar
- 20 chestnuts, cooked and vacuum-packed
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Topping
- 2 tbsp ground almonds (1)
- 10 chestnuts, cooked, vacuum-packed
- 2 tbsp chopped almonds (1)
preparation
- In a pot, mix rice semolina, coconut blossom sugar and milk, and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- Remove pot from heat
- Lightly chop the chestnuts and add them to the pot with cinnamon.
- Stir well and let it steep briefly with the lid closed.
- Meanwhile, toast ground almonds, coarsely crumbled chestnuts, and chopped almonds in a pan.
- Moisten a casserole dish with water and pour the semolina pudding into the dish.
- Smooth it out and top with the almonds and chestnuts.
- Serve warm as a pudding or let it cool in the refrigerator and serve as slices.
