Thai Nam Khao

This Thai Nam Khao consists of a combination of crispy fried rice balls and a salad with mint, parsley, and coriander. Simply incredibly delicious!

Ingredients for 3 servings

For the Nam Khao

For the dressing

  • 2 tbsp HistaFood Organic Asian Sauce
  • 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, grated (1)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (1)
  • 4 tablespoons acerola juice
  • 2 tbsp coconut blossom sugar
  • 60ml water

Miscellaneous

  • fresh parsley, coriander and mint
  • Coconut flakes (1) and macadamia nuts

Nam Khao

preparation

  • Cook the rice according to the package instructions and let it cool.
  • Mix together the HistaFood organic vegetable spread , finely chopped garlic (1), onions and lime leaves, coconut blossom sugar and the organic Asian sauce .
  • If the mixture is not sticky, add some rice flour or spelt flour and form into small balls.
  • Fry in a pan with plenty of olive oil until crispy on all sides.
  • Wash and chop the parsley, coriander, and mint. Then mix them with the dressing.
  • Place the salad on a plate and add the broken-up rice balls.
  • Briefly toast coconut flakes (1) and macadamia nuts in a pan and distribute them over the salad.
