Carrot fritters with herb quark

Have you ever tried carrot fritters? They're super delicious, low in histamine, and perfect as a snack or meal prep to go.

Ingredients for 2 people

Carrot discs:

  • 500g carrots
  • 75ml water
  • 150g spelt flour
  • Salt
  • Olive oil for frying

Herb quark:

preparation

  • Peel and finely grate the carrots.
  • Knead with water, flour and salt and form into small balls.
  • Heat some olive oil in a pan and fry the carrot cakes until golden brown on both sides.
  • Wash and finely chop the parsley.
  • Mix with quark and season with HistaFood organic herb salt.
  • Serve carrot fritters with herbed quark.

If you want to prepare the cookies gluten-free, you can use 150g of tender gluten-free rolled oats instead of 150g of spelt flour.
