Lamb chops with sweet potatoes

Perfect for your low-histamine Christmas menu: Tender lamb chops with sweet potatoes.  

This recipe is

Preparation time   

30 minutes  

Ingredients for 3-4 people  

  • 4 lamb chops  
  • 8 tablespoons of olive oil  
  • 1 clove of garlic (1)  
  • 1 tsp dried thyme  
  • 4 sprigs of thyme  

 

Lamb chops preparation  

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat).  
  • Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into strips.  
  • Season with a little olive oil, cinnamon and HistaFood organic herb salt.  
  • Bake the sweet potatoes in a preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes.  
  • Rub lamb chops with a little salt, thyme and cooking olive oil.  
  • Heat a pan  
  • Sear the lamb chops in the pan for about 3-4 minutes on each side.  
  • Remove the sweet potatoes from the oven and serve with the lamb chops and some fresh thyme sprigs.
