Köfte Wrap

Red cabbage tastes absolutely delicious in so many variations! This low-histamine köfte with red cabbage is wonderfully flavorful and ready in 15 minutes.

Ingredients for 2 servings

For the köfte

  • 250 g ground beef
  • 1/2 onion (1)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (1)
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp black cumin seeds
  • Olive oil
  • Organic herb salt

For the wrap

  • 100 g spelt flour
  • 50 ml water
  • 4 tbsp olive oil for cooking
  • 1/2 pack cream of tartar baking powder
  • Salt

For the topping

  • 2 handfuls of lamb's lettuce
  • 1/8 red cabbage
  • 1/2 onion (1)
  • 2-3 sprigs of parsley
  • 4 tbsp coconut yogurt (1)
Köfte Wrap

preparation

  • For the köfte, finely grate 1/2 onion (1) and the garlic (1), mix the minced meat with the ingredients, then form oblong meatballs and fry in oil.
  • In parallel, prepare the dough for the wrap (mix all ingredients, knead, roll out) and fry it in a pan with a little oil on both sides until golden brown.
  • Wash the lamb's lettuce, chop the onion finely and shred the red cabbage.
  • Arrange everything and garnish with parsley, coconut yogurt (1) and a few black cumin seeds.

For a low-fructose version, simply omit the onion and garlic.
