Oat and rice waffles with hot cherries
This low-histamine and gluten-free waffle is a true breakfast wonder: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a delicate aroma of cinnamon and cherries. Absolutely delicious!

Ingredients for 2 servings
For the waffles
- 150g gluten-free oat flour
- 1 pack of gluten-free semolina pudding or 50g rice flour
- 1/2 pack cream of tartar baking powder
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp coconut blossom sugar
- 350 ml water
- lactose-free butter for the waffle iron
Side dishes
- Sour cherries (frozen)
- 2 tbsp coconut blossom sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons lactose-free quark
Optional as a topping

preparation
- Mix all ingredients together, let the dough rest for about 10 minutes.
- Heat the waffle iron, brush it with butter and bake the waffles.
- Heat the cherries in a pot with some cinnamon and coconut blossom sugar.
- Arrange everything on a plate and refine with a little quark.
