Oat and rice waffles with hot cherries

This low-histamine and gluten-free waffle is a true breakfast wonder: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a delicate aroma of cinnamon and cherries. Absolutely delicious!

Ingredients for 2 servings

For the waffles

  • 150g gluten-free oat flour
  • 1 pack of gluten-free semolina pudding or 50g rice flour
  • 1/2 pack cream of tartar baking powder
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp coconut blossom sugar
  • 350 ml water
  • lactose-free butter for the waffle iron

Side dishes

  • Sour cherries (frozen)
  • 2 tbsp coconut blossom sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons lactose-free quark

Optional as a topping

preparation

  • Mix all ingredients together, let the dough rest for about 10 minutes.
  • Heat the waffle iron, brush it with butter and bake the waffles.
  • Heat the cherries in a pot with some cinnamon and coconut blossom sugar.
  • Arrange everything on a plate and refine with a little quark.
