Braised carrots
These delicious low-histamine braised carrots are perfect as a light lunch or dinner, or as a side dish to meat and fish.

Ingredients for 4 people
Braised carrots
- 700 g carrots
- 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking
- ½ tsp salt
Feta cream
- 200g vegan feta cheese (1)
- 20 ml olive oil
Topping
preparation
- Wash and peel the carrots
- Heat olive oil in a coated pan and reduce the heat to medium.
- Lightly salt the carrots and sauté them in a pan for about 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Meanwhile, finely puree vegan feta cheese with olive oil and spread it on a plate.
- Remove the carrots from the pan and serve on a plate with some HistaFood Organic Vegetable Spread Zucchini & Basil.
