Fruit bread
This freshly baked, low-histamine fruit bread is crispy on the outside and fruity, spicy, and soft on the inside.

Ingredients for a fruit bread
- 200g gluten-free rolled oats
- 50 g ground flaxseed
- 3 tablespoons psyllium husks
- 5 tbsp maple syrup
- 10 dates
- 100 g blanched almonds (1)
- 1/2 apple
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cardamom
- 1 star anise (1) (crushed)
- 250 ml water

preparation
- Cut the apple into small pieces and mix it with the remaining ingredients in a bowl with a little water.
- Let it sit for about 5 minutes, then transfer the solidified mixture into a bread tin lined with baking paper.
- Place in the oven at 180 degrees for about 80 minutes, let it cool down a bit and enjoy.
