Spelt Blueberry Waffles with Apple

Fruity and wonderfully fragrant – these spelt blueberry waffles with apple are perfect for a relaxed breakfast or a sweet treat. The combination of warm waffles and fried apple creates a particularly harmonious taste experience.

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 300 g spelt flour
  • 250 ml oat milk (1)
  • 1 packet cream of tartar baking powder
  • 50 ml rapeseed oil
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 50 g coconut blossom sugar
  • 100 g blueberries (frozen or fresh)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

For the topping

  • 1 apple
  • 1 tsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 tbsp honey

Preparation

  • Mix all ingredients for the waffles and cook them in a waffle iron.
  • Meanwhile, slice the apple and fry it in a pan with oil.
  • Arrange everything and refine with a little honey.
