Chia cherry porridge
Cherry Power Porridge!
This low-histamine chia and cherry porridge is packed with vitamins and minerals – and keeps you feeling full for a long time. Perfect for an energetic start to the day!

Preparation time

Ingredients for 2 servings
- 80g oat flakes (gluten-free)
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 100g frozen cherries
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 pinch of salt
- 300ml water

preparation
- Simmer the oats together with the flaxseed meal, a pinch of salt, the cherries and some water for 5-10 minutes.
- Then arrange on a plate and garnish with chia seeds and cherries.
- If desired, it can be sweetened with a little maple syrup.
Our HistaFood tip
For a low-fructose version, you can use apricots instead of cherries, and rice syrup as an alternative to maple syrup. Our organic protein spread with pumpkin seed and pistachio also makes an excellent topping.
