Vegan cheeseburger with bell pepper sauce

Say cheese, it's burger time! This low-histamine and vegan cheeseburger with bell pepper sauce is super easy and quick to prepare.

Ingredients for 2 servings

  • 2 gluten-free rolls of your choice
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion (1)
  • 1 garlic (1)
  • oregano
  • HistaFood Organic Herb Salt
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • Vegan almond-based cheese (1)
  • Vegan mozzarella (1)
  • 2 lettuce leaves (here romaine lettuce)
  • 1/4 cucumber
  • 250 ml water
Vegan Burger

preparation

  • Slice the onion (1).
  • Save half for the burger.
  • Simmer the other half together with the garlic (1), the bell pepper, the paprika powder, oregano, organic herb salt and some water for 10 minutes.
  • Then purée.
  • Meanwhile, cut open the rolls, top with the vegan almond-based cheese (1) and vegan mozzarella, lettuce, onion and cucumber – and refine with the paprika sauce.

You can also top the burger with, for example, a beef patty, lamb's lettuce, radishes and cress.
