Vegan crackers

These homemade, low-histamine, and vegan crackers are incredibly delicious and very crispy. A perfect snack!

Ingredients

  • 150 g spelt flour
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar baking powder
  • 15 g ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (1)
  • 1 tbsp acerola juice
  • 45 ml olive oil for frying
  • approx. 70 ml water

preparation

  • Mix all ingredients together in a mixer or knead by hand to form a dough.
  • On a floured work surface or between two sheets of baking paper, roll out the dough thinly and cut it into squares approximately 1cm in size.
  • Line the baking tray with baking paper and arrange the crackers on it, leaving some space between them.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat) for approximately 20 minutes.
