Low Carb Zucchini and Ricotta Rolls

These low-histamine zucchini and ricotta rolls with the fruity HistaFood organic vegetable sauce always taste delicious. Just give them a try!

This recipe is

Preparation time 

20 minutes + 30 minutes baking time  

Ingredients for 2-3 people  

  • 400g ricotta  
  • 100g grated mozzarella  
  • Salt  
  • 1 handful of basil  
  • Olive oil

  • Wash the zucchini, cut off the stem and the end, and cut into thin strips using a vegetable peeler.  
  • Pour HistaFood organic vegetable sauce with a little olive oil into a casserole dish.  
  • Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.  
  • Mix ricotta with onion, garlic, oregano and a little salt.  
  • Fill zucchini with ricotta and roll them up.  
  • Arrange the zucchini rolls in the baking dish with the open side facing up.  
  • Sprinkle with mozzarella and bake in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes.  
  • Remove from the oven and serve with fresh basil.
