Grilled sweet potato steaks
These sweet potato steaks are perfect for grilling and can be served however you like. Whether with a topping or simply with a salad – they always taste great!

Ingredients for 1-2 people
- 1-2 sweet potatoes
- Olive oil
- Fresh thyme
- HistaFood Organic Herb Salt
As a dip
- HistaFood Organic Vegetable Spread Carrot & Beetroot (not low in fructose)
- HistaFood Organic Vegetable Spread Zucchini & Basil (low fructose)
- Toppings: vegan feta cheese (1), chopped macadamia nuts, hemp seeds/flax seeds
preparation
- Wash, peel, and slice the sweet potatoes into approximately 5 mm – 1 cm thin slices.
- Brush with olive oil
- Grill the sweet potato steaks with fresh thyme on both sides until cooked through.
- Remove from the grill and season with HistaFood organic herb salt .
- Serve with HistaFood organic vegetable spread of your choice and toppings of your choice.
