Breakfast cookies with blueberries

These delicious breakfast cookies are incredibly easy to make with just 5 ingredients. They are vegan, not too sweet, and low in histamine. 

This recipe is  

  • suitable for a low-histamine diet 
  • gluten-free 
  • vegan  
  • lactose-free

Preparation time  

10 minutes + 20 minutes baking time 

Ingredients for approximately 10-12 cookies 

  • 1 tsp starch (corn or potato) 

Blueberry Breakfast Cookies

preparation 

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). 
  • Mix HistaFood organic grain muesli with applesauce and almond butter 
  • Mix frozen blueberries with 1 tsp of starch and carefully add to the remaining ingredients. 
  • Moisten your hands with water and shape 10-12 cookies. 
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the cookies on it.  
  • Bake in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown.  
  • Remove from the oven and let cool.  

Our HistaFood tip  

You can also prepare the cookies with pistachio butter. For a low-fructose version, you can bake them with macadamia nuts instead of blueberries.
