Creamy potato gratin

Tenderly cooked potato slices in a mildly spicy cream sauce, topped with melted cheese – this gratin is just as good as a side dish as it is as a main course with a fresh salad.

Ingredients for approximately 4 servings

  • 900 g potatoes
  • 200 ml cream
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1–2 tbsp organic vegetable broth
  • 125g mozzarella or any other cheese of your choice
Creamy potato gratin

preparation

  • Preheat oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat).
  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices about 3 mm thick.
  • Mix the cream and milk with the organic vegetable broth .
  • Layer the potato slices evenly in a casserole dish and pour the cream-milk mixture over them.
  • Sprinkle with mozzarella or cheese - or bake without baking at all.
  • Bake for approximately 45 minutes, until the potatoes are soft and the cheese is golden brown.
  • Let it cool briefly and enjoy – creamy, satisfying, simply delicious! 💛
