Baked apple is a true classic among Christmas desserts. We created this recipe using our HistaFood Organic Grain Bar . Give it a try!

Preparation time

Ingredients for 2 people
- 2 acidic apples
- 4 tablespoons gluten-free rolled oats
- 1 HistaFood Organic Grain Bar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tbsp almond butter (1) or vanilla sauce (1)

preparation
- Wash the apples and remove the cores.
- Preheat oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat).
- Mix together the oat flakes, cinnamon, honey and almond butter to form a paste.
- Finely chop HistaFood organic grain bars and add them.
- Fill the apples with it
- Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm with almond butter or vanilla sauce.
Our HistaFood tip
For a vegan version, you can use maple syrup instead of honey, for example.
