Baked apple is a true classic among Christmas desserts. We created this recipe using our HistaFood Organic Grain Bar . Give it a try!

This recipe is

  • vegetarian

Preparation time   

30 minutes  

Ingredients for 2 people  

  • 2 acidic apples  
  • 4 tablespoons gluten-free rolled oats  
  • 1 HistaFood Organic Grain Bar  
  • ½ tsp cinnamon  
  • 2 tablespoons of honey   
  • 2 tbsp almond butter (1) or vanilla sauce (1)

preparation  

  • Wash the apples and remove the cores.  
  • Preheat oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat).  
  • Mix together the oat flakes, cinnamon, honey and almond butter to form a paste.  
  • Finely chop HistaFood organic grain bars and add them.  
  • Fill the apples with it  
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes.  
  • Remove from the oven and serve warm with almond butter or vanilla sauce.  

Our HistaFood tip 

For a vegan version, you can use maple syrup instead of honey, for example.
