Apple Scones

These low-histamine apple scones are baked in 30 minutes – and taste delicious both hot and cold! Perfect for any time of year!

10 minutes + 20 minutes baking time

Ingredients for 2-3 baking sheets

  • 300g coconut yogurt (1)
  • 150ml coconut oil
  • 150g coconut blossom sugar
  • 450g Gluten-free oat flour (1)
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar baking powder (1)
  • 3-4 apples

preparation

  • Preheat oven to 200 °C (top/bottom heat).
  • Peel, core, and dice the apples.
  • Melt the coconut oil
  • Knead coconut yogurt (1), coconut oil, coconut blossom sugar, gluten-free oat flour (1) and cream of tartar baking powder (1) into a smooth dough.
  • Add the diced apples and, using moistened hands, form round scones and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
