Zucchini and feta ring
With this recipe, you can whip up a delicious zucchini and feta ring in no time using our HistaFood Organic Vegetable Spread with Zucchini and Basil . The feta ring is also perfect as a snack for a cozy evening with family and friends. Enjoy!

Preparation time

Ingredients for 1-2 people
Dough
- 300 g spelt flour
- ½ pack of cream of tartar baking powder
- 50 ml olive oil for frying
- 150 ml mineral water (1)
- Salt
filling
- 1 jar of HistaFood organic vegetable spread zucchini-basil
- 200g vegan feta cheese (1)
- 1 zucchini
- 1 handful of pine nuts (1)
Topping
- 1 egg yolk
- Sesame (1)
preparation
- Knead together spelt flour, cream of tartar baking powder, olive oil, mineral water and salt to form a dough and let it rest briefly.
- Meanwhile, wash the zucchini, grate it finely and squeeze out the liquid well.
- Preheat oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat).
- Roll out the dough thinly into a rectangle.
- Spread HistaFood Organic Vegetable Spread Zucchini & Basil on the dough
- Crumble the vegan feta cheese and distribute it evenly over the dough along with the pine nuts.
- Roll the dough into a roll along the long side and join it into a circle.
- Cut the dough in about 6 places and brush with egg yolk.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over the feta ring and bake in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
