Summer Roll Salad

This super delicious low-histamine summer roll salad brings Asian vibes to your plate – and is perfect for warm summer and autumn days!

This recipe is

Preparation time   

20 minutes  

Ingredients for 2-3 people  

  • 1 Romaine lettuce  
  • 1 red bell pepper  
  • ½ cucumber  
  • 1 carrot  
  • 1/4 red cabbage  
  • 1 handful of fresh basil  
  • 200g rice noodles

Summer Roll Salad preparation   

  • Place 200g of rice noodles in a bowl and pour boiling water over them.  
  • Let it steep for about 5 minutes and then strain the water.  
  • Cut the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.  
  • Wash, clean, and dice the bell peppers.  
  • Wash, peel, and dice the cucumber and carrot.  
  • Wash the red cabbage and cut it into thin strips.  
  • Wash the basil and cut it to size as desired.  
  • Mix all ingredients with the rice noodles  
  • Prepare a dressing from almond butter, maple syrup, acerola juice, HistaFood organic Asian sauce and water, and stir it into the salad.

You can also replace the almond butter (1) with tahini (1).
