Spirelli with carrot and bell pepper sauce and pumpkin seed halloumi

These low-histamine spelt spirals with carrot and bell pepper sauce and pumpkin seed halloumi not only taste delicious, they are also super quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients for 2 servings

For the pasta

  • Spelt spirals
  • 2-3 sprigs of parsley

For the sauce

  • 4 carrots
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion (1)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (1)
  • 500 ml water
  • Organic herb salt
  • Olive oil

For the halloumi

  • Halloumi (1)
  • 20 g grated pumpkin seeds
  • Olive oil

preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to the instructions.
  • For the sauce, finely chop the onion (1) and the garlic (1) and sauté briefly in a pot with olive oil.
  • Then chop the vegetables into small pieces and add them.
  • Deglaze with water and simmer for a good 10 minutes.
  • Then season with organic herb salt and puree.
  • Meanwhile, cut the halloumi into pieces and fry it in a pan together with the grated pumpkin seeds.
  • Arrange everything on a plate and garnish with fresh parsley.
