Beef goulash with potatoes

This low-histamine beef goulash with potatoes does need some braising time, but then it is buttery soft and full of flavor.

Ingredients for 2 servings

  • 250g beef goulash
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion (1)
  • 1 clove of garlic (1)
  • 1 zucchini
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 300ml beetroot juice
  • 4-6 potatoes
  • Olive oil
  • HistaFood Organic Herb Salt

preparation

  • Chop everything into small pieces, heat a braising pot with a little olive oil, sear the meat together with the vegetables and deglaze with 300ml of beetroot juice.
  • Add approximately another 150ml of water.
  • Then let it simmer on a low flame for 2-3 hours.
  • Then season with organic herb salt . Meanwhile, peel and boil the potatoes.
  • Prepare everything.

Buy the meat fresh from the butcher and rinse it briefly under cold water and pat it dry before preparation – because histamine is water-soluble.
