Oriental Millet Porridge

Warming, nutty, and slightly fruity. This oriental millet porridge is a special breakfast with natural sweetness. The combination of millet, dates, and pistachios provides a balanced and satisfying taste experience.

Ingredients for 2 servings

  • 100 g millet
  • 100 ml mango juice (1)
  • Frozen pomegranate seeds
  • 6-8 dates
  • 2 tbsp pistachios
  • 1 sprig of mint

Preparation

  • Wash the millet and cook with water according to instructions, then let it steep for about 10 minutes.
  • Then stir in some mango juice and refine with pomegranate seeds, dates, pistachios, and mint.

For a low-fructose variant, omit the mango juice and replace it with a small amount of blueberry juice, for example. You can replace the dates with low-fructose fruit.
