Potato pancakes with applesauce
These low-histamine potato pancakes with applesauce are quick and easy to prepare – and delicious at any time of day!

Ingredients for 6 servings
- 1/2 kg potatoes, preferably waxy
- 2 tbsp gluten-free rolled oats
- 1 small onion (1)
- 1 tbsp potato or cornstarch
- Salt
- Olive oil
- applesauce

preparation
- Finely grate the potatoes and onion.
- Pour cold water over the mixture and let it soak for about 10 minutes, then rinse and squeeze out the excess liquid in a sieve or kitchen towel.
- Add the starch, the gluten-free oat flakes and a little salt, then shape into patties by hand or cut out shapes with a glass.
- Fry in a pan with oil until crispy on both sides.
- Serve with applesauce.
