Persimmon mousse

Have you ever tried persimmon? Thanks to its sweetness and aroma, you only need a few ingredients. Be sure to try this low-histamine persimmon mousse!

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 4 persimmons (medium ripe)
  • 150 ml cream
  • 100g mascarpone
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 30 g pistachios (chopped)

Persimmon mousse

preparation

  • Whip the cream until stiff and refrigerate.
  • Peel the skin off the persimmon with a knife.
  • Cut into small pieces and puree with a hand blender,
  • Add mascarpone, maple syrup and vanilla sugar and blend again.
  • Gently fold in the whipped cream.
  • Serve with chopped pistachios.

For a vegan alternative, simply use coconut yogurt instead of cream and mascarpone. Our organic protein spread with pumpkin seed and pistachio also makes an excellent topping.
