Gluten-free oat waffles

These delicious waffles are simply super tasty and airy! With maple syrup and almond butter (1) they are simply irresistible. 

This recipe is 

  • vegan
  • suitable for a low-histamine and low-fructose diet 
  • gluten-free 
  • lactose-free 

Preparation time  

20 minutes  

Ingredients

  • 200 g gluten-free oat flour (1)
  • 1 tsp flaxseed flour 
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar baking powder (1)
  • 100 g coconut yogurt (1) 
  • 300 g gluten-free oat milk (1) 
  • 16 g coconut oil 
  • 1 pinch of salt 

preparation 

  • Mix all ingredients into a smooth dough. 
  • Preheat the waffle iron and, if necessary, brush it with a little coconut oil. 
  • Pour 2 tablespoons of batter per waffle into the waffle iron and bake until golden brown. 
  • Serve warm or cold, as desired.

Excellent toppings include low-histamine nuts and fruits, maple syrup, or our organic pumpkin seed and pistachio protein spread . For a low-fructose version, simply use rice syrup instead of maple syrup.
