Date Rice Pop Balls

Low-histamine date and rice pop balls: A simple and quick recipe for an addictive snack! You'll love them. 

This recipe is

Preparation time

Ingredients 

  • 100g Medjool dates 
  • 40 ml rice syrup 
  • 40g puffed rice, or alternatively rice cakes 
  • 40ml coconut oil 

Toppings as desired, e.g. 

  • Freeze-dried blueberries 
  • Sesame (1) 
  • Chia seeds 
  • White chocolate shavings (1) 

Date Rice Pop Balls preparation 

  • Pit the dates and finely purée them with a small splash of water. 
  • In a bowl, mix date puree, rice syrup and puffed rice with the melted coconut oil. 
  • If you are using rice cakes instead, roughly crush them by hand and mix them with the remaining ingredients. 
  • Moisten your hands with water and form small balls. 
  • Decorate the balls with the toppings as desired and then let them set briefly in the refrigerator.
