Oat and date slices

Be sure to try these super moist, low-histamine oat and date slices. They're also perfect as a snack between meals.

This recipe is  

  • suitable for a low-histamine diet 
  • gluten-free 
  • vegetarian 

Preparation time  

35 minutes 

Ingredients for a 20x20 cm pan 

filling 

  • 150g white chocolate (1) 
  • 110g almond butter (1) 
  • 50g dates 

Topping 

Date and oat slices, low in histamine preparation 

  • Mix HistaFood organic grain muesli with liquid coconut oil and agave syrup. 
  • Spread evenly in a baking paper-lined pan and press firmly together. 
  • Cover and place in the freezer for 15 minutes to firm up. 
  • Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate (1) in a hot water bath. 
  • Finely purée the dates with a little water. 
  • Mix white chocolate with almond butter and date butter. 
  • Remove the dish from the freezer and spread the cream evenly inside. 
  • Finely chop HistaFood organic grain bars and spread them on the cream. 
  • Place back in the freezer for 15 minutes to solidify. 
  • Cut into pieces and serve
