Crunchy Millet Granola

The perfect breakfast alternative: This millet granola is not only gluten-free, lactose-free, low-histamine and vegan, but also super crunchy, delicious and filling.

Preparation time  

20 minutes  

Ingredients  

  • 30 g coconut oil  
  • 60 g chopped almonds (1) or macadamia nuts  

Millet Granola preparation  

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat).  
  • Mix almonds (or macadamia nuts), millet flakes, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and salt.  
  • Finely chop HistaFood organic grain bars and add them.  
  • Melt coconut oil in a pot and stir in maple syrup.  
  • Now mix all the ingredients together  
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the granola evenly on it.  
  • Bake in a preheated oven for approximately 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.  
  • Warning! It can get very dark quickly in the last few minutes. Therefore, keep checking the oven.  
  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely.  
  • Store in an airtight container in a cool place
