Bread with cream cheese and marinated carrots
This low-histamine bread with cream cheese and marinated carrots is perfect for a hearty snack or as a mid-morning treat.

Ingredients for 2 servings
- Gluten-free bread ( e.g. our gluten-free power bread or our organic whole grain bread )
- Oat cream cheese (gluten-free) (1)
- 1 carrot (here purple)
- 4 tablespoons acerola juice
- 1 tbsp organic Asian sauce
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
- 1-2 sprigs of parsley

preparation
- Cut the carrots into thin strips using a peeler and blanch them in boiling water for about 1 minute.
- Drain briefly, then briefly place in a marinade of acerola juice, organic Asian sauce , maple syrup, olive oil and salt.
- Cut the bread open, spread with gluten-free oat cream cheese (1) and top with the carrot.
- If desired, it can be further refined with some fresh parsley.
