Vegan semolina dumpling soup
Semolina dumpling soup is a true classic of southern German and Austrian cuisine. This low-histamine and vegan semolina dumpling soup is not only very easy to make yourself, it also tastes incredibly good.

Ingredients for 1-2 people
- 70g spelt semolina
- 30g coconut oil
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 2 tbsp spelt flour
- 1 tsp cream of tartar baking powder (1)
- Salt
- Some parsley
- 700ml HistaFood Organic Vegetable Broth
preparation
- Mix melted coconut oil with spelt semolina, potato starch, spelt flour, cream of tartar baking powder and salt, and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil, then turn down the heat.
- Shape the semolina dumplings using two spoons and add them to the boiling water.
- Let them steep for about 20 minutes, ideally until they float to the top.
- In another pot, bring 700ml of HistaFood organic vegetable broth to a boil.
- Sift the semolina dumplings and add them to the organic vegetable broth.
- Serve with finely chopped fresh parsley.
