Sweet potato toast

These low-histamine sweet potato toasts are quick to make and super delicious. You can top the slices with whatever you like and enjoy them hot or cold. Here we have a savory and a sweet version for you.

Ingredients for 2-4 servings

  • 1 sweet potato
  • Olive oil for brushing

  • Almond butter (1)
  • Honey
  • blueberries

preparation

  • Peel the sweet potato and cut it lengthwise into slices about 5-7mm thick.
  • Bake in a toaster on a low setting.
  • Alternatively, the toasts can be baked in the oven or in an air fryer.
  • For the savory version, spread the organic vegetable spread carrot & beetroot on the toast and top it with bell pepper and cress.
  • For a sweet version, spread your toast with almond butter (1) and top with blueberries. Then drizzle with a little honey.
