Sweet apple bread

A delicious and fruity apple bread that you absolutely must try!

Ingredients for 2 servings

  • 50g almond flour (1)
  • 50g flaxseed meal
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar baking powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 150 g apple puree
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 6 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 apples

Glaze (optional)

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free oat milk (1)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
Recipe

preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a loaf pan with baking paper.
  • Mix the applesauce, egg yolks and maple syrup in a large bowl.
  • Then add the dry ingredients (flour, flaxseed flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt).
  • Fold in the chopped apples, mix, and pour the batter into the loaf pan.
  • Smooth the surface with a spatula.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool, then optionally spread glaze.
  • Slice and serve.

Nuts give the apple bread a delicious crunch. Feel free to use unsalted chopped macadamia nuts or pistachios. Our organic protein spread with pumpkin seed and pistachio also goes perfectly with it.
