Sweet apple bread
A delicious and fruity apple bread that you absolutely must try!

Preparation time

Ingredients for 2 servings
- 50g almond flour (1)
- 50g flaxseed meal
- 1 tsp cream of tartar baking powder
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 pinches of salt
- 150 g apple puree
- 3 egg yolks
- 6 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 apples
Glaze (optional)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup gluten-free oat milk (1)
- 1 tsp cinnamon

preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a loaf pan with baking paper.
- Mix the applesauce, egg yolks and maple syrup in a large bowl.
- Then add the dry ingredients (flour, flaxseed flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt).
- Fold in the chopped apples, mix, and pour the batter into the loaf pan.
- Smooth the surface with a spatula.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool, then optionally spread glaze.
- Slice and serve.

Nuts give the apple bread a delicious crunch. Feel free to use unsalted chopped macadamia nuts or pistachios. Our organic protein spread with pumpkin seed and pistachio also goes perfectly with it.
