Sushi Balls
For all you Japanese food lovers, we have a super delicious and easy recipe: Low-histamine sushi balls. They always turn out perfectly. Give it a try!

Ingredients for 1-2 people
- 100g sushi rice
- 250g wild salmon (frozen)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil (1)
- 2 tbsp HistaFood Organic Asian Sauce
- 1 carrot (grated)
Topping
- Sesame seeds (1) as desired
- Chives (1) or spring onion (1)
preparation
- Wash the sushi rice and cook according to the package instructions.
- Thaw the wild salmon quickly in a water bath and fry it in a coated pan with a little olive oil.
- Wash, peel and finely grate the carrot.
- Place the cooked rice on a plate and let it cool.
- Chop the wild salmon with two forks and mix with rice, sesame oil, HistaFood organic Asian sauce and carrot.
- Form into small balls with moistened hands.
- Serve with sesame seeds and chives or spring onions, and HistaFood Organic Asian Sauce.
Our HistaFood tip
For a vegan alternative, you can add some grated cucumber instead of wild salmon. However, you should first squeeze the cucumber well in a kitchen towel to remove the liquid.
